Welcome on Board the swimming Hostel!

The boat “Eastern Comfort”

has 25 cabins on three decks and classes. On the middle-deck you'll find eight spacious 1st class cabins incl. bathroom, on the lower deck there are 16 cosy single, double, triple and four bed cabins with portholes and own bathroom. All first and second class Eastern Comfort Cabins come with linen and towels included in the price. A 4 bed dorm ensuite with 4 bunkbeds is located on the lower deck and on the third and upperdeck a dormroom with 5 bunkbeds and shared bathrooms.
You can pitch your tent or spend a romantic open air night under Berlins starlet sky sometimes ;-) ) on the upperdeck. (only during summer months)

The boat “Western Comfort”

has 18 cabins on two decks and is moored just next to “EASTERN COMFORT”. [reception (check in and check out), lounge, breakfast, etc. only on “eastern comfort”].
Showers and toilets are central located outside the cabins on the upper deck. All services like reception checkin/out, breakfast, lounge etc. only on “EASTERN COMFORT”.

Wir waren 5 Tage im Eastern Comfort Hotelschiff.
Wir hatten ein dreier Zimmer, mit einem großem Bett und einem Hochbett.
Am Hochbett war etwas unpraktisch, dass keine Leiter vorhanden war und man nur über einen Stuhl hochkam. Das Zimmer war klein und gemütlich, sich umziehen und fertig machen für drei Personen jedoch eine Herausforderung. Dafür kann man aber auch die Toiletten und Waschräume des Schiffes benutzen.
Das Frühstücksbuffet hat mehr Auswahl geboten als ich es erwartet habe.
Auf der Lounge für die Hotelgäste kann man sich abends gut entspannen und noch etwas trinken. Man hat von dort eine herrliche Aussicht und der Sonnenuntergang ist einmalig.
Die Nähe zu Bus und Bahnhöfen ist natürlich ein großer Punkt und auch die East Side Mall wo man alles bekommt was man braucht, ist nur ein Katzensprung weg.
Ein großer Pluspunkt ist auch, dass ich mit meiner Verletzung am Fuß immer Eis zum kühlen bekommen habe und man mir auch immer irgendwie geholfen hat.
Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen.

Cette fois ci j'ai décidé de venir à Berlin en famille et nous avons choisi des chambres en cabine première classe dans cet Hostelboat. Geniel nous avions vue sur la Spree. La personnalisation de la relation est une des spécialités de Carole. Special thanks to Yannick and Diarmaid for their kindness.

For sure, of you come to Berlin you should choose this Hostelboat because of its specific situation so closed to East Side Galery and the marvelous paintings on the Wall.

Eastern Comfort ist a wunderbar hostel. Entschuldigung für mein Deutsch

Pro: Fantastische Lage, lässiges Boot mit herrlicher Atmosphäre ohne jeglichen Luxus, aber dafür mit toller Aussicht, Bar und Bedienung.

Con: Schwarzafrikaner die vor dem Boot Nachts um 1 Uhr ihre Bongo Berlin Gangstermukke vollen Anschlag aufwurzeln, Eine geschlagene Stunde lang, in der Bar hat man kaum sein eigenes Wort verstanden.
